Ullmark joined the elite ranks of just six NHL goaltenders to ever achieve the "Triple Crown" by leading the league in wins (40), GAA (1.89), and SV% (.938).
He also shattered records by becoming the fastest goalie to reach 20, 30, and 40 wins in a single season, doing so in only 48 games.
This prompted ex-Boston goalie and current NESN commentator, Andrew Raycroft, to make a strong assertion about the unparalleled nature of Ullmark's season:
Ullmark wrapped up the season with a remarkable 40-6-1 record. Only the Avalanche's Alexandar Georgiev has a chance to match him in wins, currently at 39 for the season.
Colorado and Georgiev are in the lead against the Predators with a 3-1 score. For comparison, it took Georgiev 62 games to - potentially - reach 40 wins.
