In a Move made by Boston PWHL team, it releases defender Emma Buckles. She will be signing with Ottawa.

This will bring to light the defensive depth of Boston and if they have enough depth to withstand the transaction. Buckles is no stranger to Boston having spent five years at Harvard University between 2017-22. The former Crimson captain led her team's blue line with a career-high 17 points her final year and earned ECAC Hockey First-Team All-Leage and All-Ivy First-Team honors.

Boston has released reserve defender Emma Buckles, who is signing with Ottawa.

Interesting for Boston ... does it have enough depth on D?

Boston will now shift to life without Buckles as it moves to fill the gap she left in the defensive line up upon her release.
