In this series, it's clear that Bruins' coach Jim Montgomery must return to the simple strategies that helped lead Boston to their incredible season.

Game six showcased the Bruins' ongoing issues in this series: persistent turnovers. This highlights the need for a solid puck mover like Matthew Grzelcyk on the team, especially as Hampus Lindholm struggles.

In the previous postseason, Derek Forbort excelled on the Bruins' penalty kill, but given the depth of their defence this season, his skills in that area don't compensate for his overall game's shortcomings. Frankly, the Forbort-Connor Clifton duo has simply underperformed in this series against the Panthers.

Another adjustment Montgomery should contemplate is reintroducing Trent Frederic to the lineup while sidelining Nick Foligno. Frederic's speed and adaptability offer more advantages than the veteran's experience.

Back to Basics

It appears Montgomery is over-analyzing the situation and must refocus on the tactics that brought success throughout the season. Here's my suggested lineup for game seven:

Marchand-Bergeron-DeBrusk
Zacha-Krejci-Pastrnak
Hall-Coyle-Bertuzzi
Frederic-Nosek-Hathaway

Grzelcyk-McAvoy
Lindholm-Carlo
Orlov-Clifton

Swayman
Ullmark

On the topic of goaltending: Linus Ullmark seems off, either due to an issue or sheer exhaustion, as it's evident every time he rises from a save.
