Another Update Regarding Bruins Player Future

For the past few seasons, Jake DeBrusk has been the center of discussion around the trade deadline and this year was no different.
DeBrusk faced a lot of rumors leading up to the deadline but ultimately the bruins ended up holding on to the winger. DeBrusk expressed how it was a relief not to be moved and now he can now look forward.
"I've been through it before, so no, obviously I think that everybody in this room can agree it's a sense of relief and where you're going to be. Obviously you see guys come in, they're super excited and it's just that time of year again, right? So obviously it seems like there's been a lot of games in between and it seems like a busy schedule, but it's been good."
As DeBrusk's contract is coming to an end this season and the Bruins have yet to come to an extension agreement with him, there is a good chance he will enter the free agent market this summer. Since DeBrusk has proven in the past he can be a goal scorer in the NHL, he is certainly going to attract some attention in the off-season.
