Linus Ullmark's name has been all the buzz when it comes to trades and acquisitions for the Bruins but it is another name and a major prospect could be on the move to try and land Rangers star Mika Zibanejad.
The B's are looking to entice the Rangers with a Top Prospect in Matthew Poitras, the 5'11 forward who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He he had 16 goals and 79 assists for 95 points in 63 games for the Gulph Storm.
Last season, Poitras made his NHL Debut with the Bruins and appeared in 33 games. He tallied 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points.
Zibanejad could fill the roll that Patrice Bergeron left when he retired, he could make a great addition and linemate for stars like Brad Marchand and David Pastrňák. What makes this work is that they have the needed cap space to be able to pull it off.
