Boston Bruins broadcaster Sophia Jurksztowicz takes sudden leave of absence from team

It has been announced that after she just finished signing her contract with NESN in the offseason, Boston Bruins broadcaster Sophia Jurksztowicz has decided to take a leave of absence from the team to focus on personal matters.
Jurksztowicz made the announcement from her personal Instagram account that she will be taking some time for herself and doesn't want anyone to worry about her. She thanked the Boston Bruins and all of the fans for the love and support she is receiving.
«This summer I signed a contract extension with NESN and I couldn't be happier to continue my journey as your Bruins host,» she wrote. But due to personal reasons, I'm going to have to delay my season start with NESN and the team. I don't want anyone to worry, I WILL be okay, but right now I just need to take time away from work.
«I've received nothing but support from NESN with my circumstances and I seriously could not be more grateful to be working at NESN or more thankful for all the love from my teammates.
«It's only preseason, but I miss being at the rink already and I'm going to miss interacting with all of you too. You're the best fans in the world and you're my home away from home. I can't wait to be back. In the meantime, I'm always cheering.»
