The Boston Bruins main priority is still to Sign Jeremy Swayman, but Don Sweeney should look at bringing in https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=99420 on a cheap deal to replace Jake DeBrusk who signed with the Vancouver Canucks.

The Bruins have had a busy offseason signing big names such as Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov, but one contract is left to be locked up and that is of star goalie Jeremy Swayman. Clearly both sides are at a standstill and the remaining cap space available should go to him, but if Sweeny can land a former 35+ goal scorer for a good price, why shouldn't he?

but that doesn't mean there isn't space for the Bruins to swoop in. NHL insider Frank Seravalli has revealed that 3 teams have offered the 35-year old a contract, and is set to make a decision soon. With that being said, it doesn't mean there isn't space for the Bruins to swoop and try and land him.

If the Bruins can land Pacioretty for a good price, is it worth taking cap space away from Swayman?
