Boston Bruins make another round of cuts, placing 3 more players on waivers

The Boston Bruins have made a big but sneaky decision today to go ahead with another round of roster cuts, in order to three players down for AHL assignments.
The Boston Bruins have elected to send down and place Vinni Lettieri, Jordan Oesterle and goalie Michael DiPietro on waivers for the purpose of AHL assignments, but did so in an attempt to not have the players picked up by other NHL clubs.
Vinnin Lettieri
With only one game left in the preseason, the first of 3 players to be getting the snip is Vinny Lettieri. In 2 preseason games, his play was underwhelming to say the least, he had four shots on goal, three hits, and won 4/5 face offs in the face off circle. His biggest issues were glaring as he took two big penalties and had 2 costly giveaways that led to every talk goals
Jordan Oesterle
The second of three players to be getting the boot down to the minors is defensemen Jordan Oesterle. At 32-years-old, he impressed more than the other 2 players in this list, but due to the deep and loaded back ended the B's have this year, there is just no room for him. In the event of injuries or sickness, assuming he clears waivers, the left-side defender is probably the first man up back to the NHL.
I'm 2 appearances for the Nruins this preseason, Oesterle had an assist and three shots on goal.
Michael Dipietro
The last players to be placed on waivers is goalie Michael Dipietro. It really did not come to a shock to many that he was in this list as he underperformed in training camp and in preseason. With the Bruins signing Jiri Paterson and having top prospect Brandon Bussi, it doesn't make sense to keep him around.
