The Boston Bruins took on the Los Angeles Kings last night in Quebec City as they now fall to 2-3 in the pre season with a 4-1 loss last night.

The Bruins held practice this morning following yesterday's loss in which newly signed forward Elias Lindholm was back on the first line with Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak.

Morgan Geekie was also brought back to his role on the second line as a winger with Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle which makes things look like Geekie will be the winger to replace Jake DeBrusk to start the season.

Fans were surprised to see Charlie McAvoy and Fabian Lysell not present for practice this morning which is likely just a rest day since they played last night despite multiple players from last night's game practicing this morning.

Another familiar face that was missing from practice was Matt Poitras would seems to be dealing with a small injury which is why he missed last night's game and practice this morning.

Fans are excited to see the Bruins second line this season as they believe they will be incredible defensively but will also be able to help offensively even if their production will not be on the same level as the first line.

The 2nd line will be solid defensively and I'm hoping they can find some offence. Lettieri is the only skater I'm unsure of. I've watched all preseason games and he hasn't stood out, but maybe that's a good thing. Where is Poitras?
