After the Bruins OT win against the Bruins, Boston head coach gave a few updates, one of them being about Defenseman Matt Grzelcyk who was hurt during the game.

Jim Montgomery told media in Edmonton that Matt Grzelcyk is "doing OK" and is "day-to-day right now."

This would be a big loss for the Bruins as they are already down defenseman Hampus Lindholm. They called up Mason Lorhei before the Oilers game and recent reports indicate they are calling up Ian Mitchell for their next game as they prepare for Grzelcyk to miss some time.

All of this points to the Bruins going hard at the trade deadline to acquire defenseman Noah Hanifin. With the recent rash of injuries to the defense, it might be time to bring the Boston Native back home.
