Brad Marchand speaks to the media regarding his injury
The Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand has been slowly recovering from three surgeries during the off-season as he continue to recover and is not rushing to get back.
Marchand took part in his first practice yesterday although it was with a non contact jersey showing that he is not fully ready yet and fans were happy to see him back on the ice since it means he should be back soon.
The Bruins captain spoke to reporters after the practice about his first time back on the ice this season saying that it felt good and he is hoping to continue progressing as he hopes to get into a few pre season games before the year starts.

If Marchand is hoping to get into a few pre season games as he stated before the actual season starts, he likely approaching a full recovery from his surgeries and will surely be ready for the first game of the season.
Fans are excited to see him back on the ice with the team as he is a huge part of the team and they will need him to come out of the gate strong this year.
The season is still a couple weeks away which means Marchand still has some time to continue to recover.
