All hockey fans know the Ottawa Senators' season has fallen below expectations on all fronts. The team is loaded with young talent but cannot seem to make it work. They currently sit outside a playoff spot which has been the situation all season.

The Senators' captain currently has 47 points in 55 games with a -6 +/- rating this season. If Tkachuk truly is on the move, there is no denying that this would be a great player for Sweeney to go and get before the deadline.
