Brandon Carlo set to have career year for the Boston Bruins
According to the Hockey Writers, they made 3 bold predications for the 2024-2025 season and one of them is that defenseman Brandon Carlo is going to have a career year with the Boston Bruins.
Carlo does not wow you when it comes to offensive production and showing up on the stat sheet but as a classic stay at home d-man, he excels. Carlo was clearly a the most impressive and consistent defenseman for the Bruins through the first 2 rounds of the 2024 NHL playoffs and insiders and reports expect him to continue that great play into this season.
With that being said, Carlo did step up to the plate during the playoffs and provided the much needed offense that was lacking. He scored 3 goals and 1 assist in 13 games and ties Marchand and Frederic with the most goals during the postseason.
Carlo's career high in points is 19 in 67 games and with the clinic he put on last playoffs, it it can be a safe bet that he breaks through that barrier.
