Bruins fans were surprised to see prospect Fabian Lysell on the third line while only getting powerplay time on the second unit, while Georgii Merkulov centers the second line. The Bruins will have next acquisition Joonas Korpisalo in nets for the game.
On the Capitals side, a lot of their start players such as Alex Ovechkin will be sitting out this game but fans will still get to see Tom Wilson who is making his pre season debut along side their newest acquisition Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Bruins fans are also excited to get a first glimpse at NHL veteran Tyler Johnson who just sign a private tryout contract with the Bruins before the start of training camp.
Hopefully the Bruins will be able to get a win for the fans at the Garden as they look to improve to 1-1 on the pre season.
The Bruins next game will be on Thursday against the New York Rangers once again as they look to get revenge for Sunday's loss while the Capitals take on the New Jersey Devils tomorrow night.
