The Bruins had all of their front office from CEO Charlie Jacobs to general manager Don Sweeney answering all the reporters hard hitting questions regarding the upcoming season.
Jacobs started off the entire press conference by stating that the front office is in constant communication with goaltender Jeremy Swayman as they continue contract negotiations.
The Bruins CEO made a point to say this to the media before any questions were asked since last week there was a lot of speculation which had general manager Don Sweeney fuming that the Bruins had not been in contact with Swayman in weeks.
Clearly the Bruins are still far away from reeching an agreement with Swayman as the season rapidly approaches and they likely ended up having to start of the year with Joonas Korpisalo as the number 1 goalie.
The good thing is that Korpisalo has been on fire for the Bruins so far in the pre season and looks like he could handle the job until an agreement in reached with Swayman.
