Bruins defenseman leaves the game after taking a dirty hit

The Boston Bruins kicked off their pre season last night in Boston with an evening game against the rival New York Rangers.
In the first period, fans were kick to jump to their feet and boo the Rangers after defenseman Parker Wotherspoon took a dirty hit from Rangers forwards Brennan Othmann.
Wotherspoon very slow to get up after taking a brutal cheap shot from Othmann. That hit was way late and blind side. Should be 5 and a game.
A look at the hit on Wotherspoon:
Wotherspoon headed down the tunnel and into the Bruins locker room after taking the blind sided hit after staying down on the ice for quite some time.
Parker Wotherspoon has gone down the tunnel after taking a hit by Ranger's Brennan Othmann. Wotherspoon took a hit up high and stayed down on the ice for a while before skating off and right to the locker room.
There has yet to be an update on if Wotherspoon has a bad injury or if he will miss any time during the rest of the pre season.
Some fans disagreed with the hit being dirty stating that it was shoulder to shoulder and at most was a little late.
