There was some worry surrounding Lindholm by Bruins fans as there has been a lack of updates surrounding what the extent of his injury was and when he will be back to full form. But today, Montgomery gave the media some great news that he will be returning to skating today and is fully expected to be reinstated tomorrow September 24th.
Lindholm went down with an apparent injury at the Bruins first day of training camp and has not participated in any team activates since. It is not the best news but at least the injury itself is not a major one and it looks like it will not effect him come the regular season.
This offseason, Bruins signed Lindholm to a 7-year, $54.2 Million deal where he is fully expected to taker over as the "new Patrice Bergeron" and be the teams first line center. The main thing the team is looking for this pre-season is too build the chemistry with his potential linemates in Pavel Zacha and superstar David Pastrnak.
His 2-way skill set made him a major draw in this years offseason where he was perused by many NHL teams, but by singing with the B's, he has set himself up to have a major bounce back year after struggling in 2023-2024 with the Vancouver Canucks.
