Bruins forward has proved he deserves a contract extension

Bruins forward Danton Heinen has been having a great season with the Bruins and has proved he deserves an extension.
Heinen signed with the Bruins after coming to camp on a PTO and was signed to a one year deal worth $775,000.
The 28 year-old has been playing very well this season for the Bruins with 30 points in 66 games while also putting up an impressive 11 points in his last 18 games.
It will be interesting to see if the Bruins do offer him a contract before the July 1st deadline as he has proven to be a crucial part of this team.
