Bruins looking to bring back a former player

The Bruins have still some available cap space and it looks like there might be some interest in bringing back free agent James van Riemsdyk.
While bringing back van Riemsdyk could make sense for the Bruins depth on a cap friendly deal it might create some complications.
The Bruins only have $8.6 million left in available cap space and it looks like the signing JVR before finishing the deal with Swayman might create some issues.
Swayman is waiting for the right deal and the Bruins have $8.6 million in cap space. Signing anyone else prior would complicate things, so Swayman has to come before other business.
While fans would love to see JVR back in Boston, they would definitely prefer to make sure Swayman is locked in for the distant future.
