The Bruins have been following a regular rotation between their goalies all season, alternating them every game. For Thursday night's game against Calgary, they have opted to chose a different strategy by having Jeremy Swayman start again.
Montgomery explained the decision in his press conference today stating that the reasoning behind the decision came from wanting to play the hot hand in Swayman and also due to Ullmark's recent troubles against the Flames.
