Linus Ullmark made the start in net for the Bruins on Tuesday night and got more than he bargained for when the Lightning's Michael Eyssimont barreled into him in the net. Thankfully, Ullmark had the help of teammate (and former Bolts player) Kevin Shattenkirk to clear the crease . . after Ullmark took a retaliatory shot of his own.

In the replay, it's unclear if the contact was completely avoidable or not, but it does appear that Eyssimont may have leaned into the contact more so than trying to avoid it. Thankfully, Shattenkirk followed one of the most important unwritten rules of hockey and did what he could to protect his goalie after Ullmark took what many fans believe to have been an intentional shot to the head.
