Bruins provide unsettling injury update on Elias Lindholm
The Boston Bruins projected first line center and Patrice Bergeron replacement Elias Lindholm has been out since the first day of camp, but now he is back practicing and training with the with the team, but is still not ready to return to action.
Per The Athletic's Fluto Shinzawa. Lindholm has been day-to-day with an injury that the team has still not provided details on and has not appeared in any preseason action.
The Boston Bruins reported that he has taken a step in the right direction with his recovery, but his chances of playing in any preseason games is slim as we are only 9 days away from the star of the regular season on October 8th. He was seen practicing for the first time, but is in a red jersey which means that he will only be participating in drills that do not involve any contact.
During practice, he played with his projected linemates Pavel Zacha and superstar David Pastrnak as the expectation is that this will be the Boston Bruins first line come the regular season.

On top of his injury, Elias Lindholm and his wife welcomed their second baby boy two days ago which they named Luca.
