Bruins release massive injury update regarding captain Brad Marchand
The Boston Bruins started their training camp last week but were without some of their top players such as captain Brad Marchand and new acquisition Elias Lindholm.
Marchand has been recovering from a long list of injuries that came out after the playoffs which required surgery to fix which is why he missed the first week of camp
The Bruins held practice this morning prior to their game tonight against the Washington Capitals at TD Garden in which the group not playing held a regular practice.
Marchand was seen on the ice this morning for morning skate prior to the Bruins game against the Capitals, taking part in drills but was wearing a non-contact jersey.
Hopefully this means that Marchand will approaching a return and will be able to get at least one pre season game in before the regular season begins in October.
Since Marchand went through three different surgeries in the off-season, they will likely not rushing getting him into a game until he is fully ready as he is their leader and one of their best players which they cannot afford to be missing for the entire season.
