The Bruins will have a ton of free cap space heading into the off-season which means they will have the option of signing some big names.

The number 1 target will be the Canucks Elias Lindholm, the Swedish forward was a star in Calgary but since being traded to Vancouver has been struggling which is why the Canucks will most likely not re-sign him. The Bruins are said to be very interested in signing the forward as there was speculation that they wanted him at the deadline. He currently has 41 points in 71 games this season.

Another free agent they may go after is Stars' Matt Duchene who has been having a great year with Dallas. Duchene currently has 62 points in 72 games and if the Stars decide not to extend him before the July 1st deadline, it looks like the Bruins may offer him a contract.

Finally there in Sean Monahan of the Winnipeg Jets who has been having a phenomenal season after struggling with injuries the last few years. Monahan was just acquired by the Jets but will be a free agent this summer and will likely have multiple teams interested including the Bruins.

Boston will have $21.7 million in cap space heading into free agency meaning they will be able to sign some big names, now it comes down to who they end up signing.
