Bruins Vs Capitals: Fabian Lysell impresses in 2nd pre-season game with big goal
There was a lot of pressure on top prospect Fabian Lysell heading into the pre-season as he tries to crack the Bruins lineup. After a disappointing first game, he looks to bounce back in game 2 against the Capitals.
The Boston Bruins just wrapped up their second pre-season game where they bested the Washington Capitals 4-2, but what has fans and management talking, is how good Lysell played in his second appearance.
There was no where to go but up, and a bounce back is an understatement tonight. Lysell was all over the ice making offensive plays, playing with confidence and even topped the evening with a big powerplay goal from the top of the dot to make it 2-0 for the B's.
To collect a pass on the backhand and transition it to the forehand that quickly is impressive. Perfectly placed quick release. That's what the Bruins are looking for.

Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery told media in the post-game press conference that he is very happy with the way he played tonight and saw lots of progress in game 2 compared to game 1 against the Rangers.
