The past few weeks has seen many players taken through the rumor mill being as the trade deadline is upon us. At this time of year, it seems as though no one is safe, even superstars such as Elias Pettersson.
Pettersson has been the topic of trade discussion since his contract is coming up and there were rumors that the Canucks were not offering him enough. Those rumors are now dead being as the Canucks have announced they have come to an agreement with Pettersson for an 8 year contract at supposedly 11.6 million per year.
