Cost for Devils to obtain Linus Ullmark revealed

Linus Ullmark declined multiple trade offers this season including one from the Los Angles Kings. This means the cost to obtain Ullmark will come at a Premium. Teams interested in obtaining Ullamark will have to have a good amount of cap space to have a chance at adding the goal tender to their team.
The New Jersey Devils are one team that have made it clear they want Ullmark on there team this offseason and with the addition of Head coach Sheldon Keefe, general manager Tom Fitzgerald's next directive was to look at improving there current goaltending.
The Devils obtained Jake Allen and Kaapo Kahkonen in the 2023-2024 season and while there talent was very supportive to the team's overall growth, the devils are looking to making even more moves to ensure the team can improve in the upcoming season.
Fitzgerald has mentioned in an interview that he is actively looking for a goal tender who could be the team's starter and Keefe agrees that there needs to be more improvement in the net for the Devils.

It appears that the Bruins were already leaning towards an offer with the Los Angles Kings up until Ullmark rejected it. The community the Kings would offer Ullmark is a whole different vibe than the one in Boston or the one the Devils could offer Ullmark if he accepts their trade deal.
The Bruins have come to the decision to have Jeremy Swayman as their starting goalie and Sweeney has stated in an interview with the Boston media that he is going to make the puzzle pieces fit together so that they can obtain the best trade deal for Ullmark. Sweeney also stated that he is prepared for Ullmark to change his mind several times and that they would keep Ullmark in another reality but that they were going to inspect other alternatives this offseason. Sweeney made it clear that he was confident in the multiple offers he would receive from other teams as well.
The Cost for Ullmark is a premium the Devils or someone other team will be willing to pay even if the pieces don't fit right now with deals. The Vezina Trophy Winner is very talented on the ice and his regular season and playoff season with the Bruins has depicted that. Things will fall into place and we can only wait until the lottery draft to see what comes of this.
