The Bruins made a lot of great moves this off-season but their were also a few poor moves and serious questions marks.

GM Don Sweeney made a terrible decision when trading Linus Ullmark as he went and acquired another goaltender that cost $2 million less and a bottom 6 forward when Ullmark is a former Vezina winner and was only costing them $5 million.

But, Swayman is still unsigned, and the return for Ullmark from the Ottawa Senators was a bad one. Let's be honest, getting Joonas Korpisalo back is downright not good. He was the league's worst goalie last year and he is owed $3 million this year after Sweeney got Ottawa to retain $1 million. Still, Ullmark had one year left on his deal and for just $2 million in cap space relief, he could have held onto the former Buffalo Sabres goalie and ran it back for one more season.

Sweeney also let go of Jake DeBrusk who struggled at different moments this season but the issue here is that he let him go and did not find a solid replacement.

Clearly both these moves were far from good but that's not to say Sweeney did not do a good job since he did manage to bring in Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm.
