Fans believed it would be prospect Fabian Lysell who put up solid numbers last season in the AHL with 55 points in 57 games despite not getting called up.
After Lysell's first game, things were not looking good since head coach Jim Montgomery stated that if Lysell plans on making the team, the Bruins will need to see a lot more from him in training camp.
The young prospect had a much better second game yesterday as he ended up with a solid goal which helped the Bruins to their first win of the pre season.
After the game, Lysell spoke to the media about his performance saying that he has changed his mindset over the last few days and has taken pressure off of himself which has helped him a lot.
Clearly Lysell is not ready to give up just yet as he proved last night and truly wants to make this team as he believe that he can.
It will be interesting to see who the Bruins end up choosing for their second line winger to start off the season.
