It was announced today that former Boston Bruins defenceman Jarred Tinordi has signed with the Calgary Flames.
Own was out to paper on a 1-year/$800K contract where he will serve as a Calgary depth and veteran d-man who can hit and fight with the best of them.
Now 32, Tinordi spent last season playing for the Blackhawks protecting stars like Connor Bedard. The 6-foot-6 d-man scored zero goals, nine assists, 94 blocks, and accumulated 171 hits in 52 games.
It will be interesting to see if he can stick in the NHL as he is in a 2-way deal, but nonetheless , one thing is forsure, he will make an impact in the hitting department.
