The Bruins signed former Anaheim Ducks forward Max Jones to a 2-year, $2 million AAV deal where is expected to a big contributor the B's bottom 2 lines.
head coach Jim Montgomery has not disclosed the specifics or details of what keeping him out, or even what the extent of the injury is, but he is listed as day-to-day just like Elias Lindholm.
Jones will be adding a lot of toughness and grit to the Bruins but it is not a good start when players go down early with an undisclosed injury. Jones has been up and down from the AHL to the NHL but has solidifies himself as a full time guy in the last 4 seasons. Last season he scored 5 goals and 10 assists for 10 points in 52 games while achieving a +/- rating of -6.
