Insider reveals Ullmark might not be staying in Ottawa for long

The Bruins traded former Vezina winner Linus Ullmark to the Senators in a trade at the beginning of the off-season.
According to insider Frankie Corrado,Linus Ullmark might only end up being a rental in Ottawa as he is entering the last year of his contract and has been vague on if he wants to sign an extension.
"The whole contract situation and the talks about that, that is something that (Senators GM) Steve (Staios) and my agent will deal with off to the side. I told them as well that once there is something that needs to be discussed, you can always reach me ... I try not to look too far ahead.
"I try to stay in the moment and not worry about what may or what could be in the future and instead, just enjoying the present."

While there is still an entire year ahead before Ullmark is a free agent for both parties to discuss an extension, it is discouraging for Sens fans to hear that Ullmark is not adamant on staying.
