Jeremy Swayman is not a priority? Bruins latest move causes big concern

Even though GM Don Sweeney and the Boston have sent a qualifying offer to goalie Jeremy Swayman, and say that signing him is a priority, the lack of contract developments has become a concern for Bruins fans.
The Burins have signed big names such as Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov, but it seems that Sweeney's priorities are finding a new winger to replace DeBrusk then it is to sign Swayman to an extension.
After Monday's signings, the Bruins have $8,636,666 in cap space, according to CapFriendly, which should be enough to get Swayman locked up for the foreseeable future. General manager Don Sweeney said Monday the goalie remains a priority, and how their newcomers won't get in the way of getting a deal done.
Swayman is looking for a contract worth about $8Million AAV which would leave no cap space to find a new top 6 winger.
When asked about the lack of signing progress, Sweeney had this to say.
«Sway is a big part of this whole dynamic of what we're trying to put together. It's a priority for us, we're going to continue to find a negotiated landing spot, and the timing is what it is, however long that takes,» Sweeney said. «It's not impacted by what we did today. We're in a great spot to find as I said, the best negotiated deal we can find for both sides.»
Don Sweeney says one thing but is doing the other, there are constant reports of him trying to find a new winger to replace DeBrusk but according to NHL Insiders there has been little no progress in contract talks with swaymans camp.
