Jeremy Swayman reportedly considering official trade request from Boston Bruins
Well trusted and credible NHL insider Elliote Friedman has reported that Bruins RFA star goaltender Jeremy Swayman and his agent Lewis Gross may officially issue a trade request from the Boston Bruins.
If you have been following any NHL news the last 24 hours, The Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman are in the middle of a nasty contract negotiation that escalated Monday. Yesterday, his agent denied and called out Cam Neely and the Bruins organization for lying about a contract offer that was never given. The controversy is getting worse as the relationship between both camps is at it's breaking point.

Due to Swayman and his agent not willing to budge on what they think he is worth, and the drama escalating to a point of no return. No comment has come from Swayman directly since this all has gone down, but his agent clearly is unhappy with the way the team has decided to handle the situation and make it public, which could open the door for some big moves to come through.
Will Jeremy Swayman officially ask for a trade from the Boston Bruins?
According to Elliotte Friedman, with the team and Swayman at a clear impasse, there is a strong possibility that Swayan no longer wants to continue his relationship with the team and ask to be moved. This would be the Bruins worst case scenario as they already have traded former Vezina wining goalie Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators. They will be left with Joonas Korpisaloin net, although competent, he is not a bonified all-star like Swayman, and the B's will also have to juggle between choosing from 2 rookie goalies who have close to no NHL experience.
