The Boston Bruins took on the Los Angeles Kings loss last night, you forward Matt Poitras was out of the lineup once again.

Poitras had a great rookie season that came to an end due to a shoulder injury that required season ending surgery and despite taking almost a year to recover he seems to be having set backs.

Poitras had a great start to training camp this year as he has been dominating the pre season but it seems to no be coming to a hold as he is listed as day to day as his shoulder has been bothering him which is why he has missed practice and last night's game.

Head coach Jim Montgomery spoke to the media this morning and was asked about Poitras to which he stated that he is day to day but that his current status will not affect if he starts the season in Boston.

Coach Montgomery on Matt Poitras: "I don't think his availability affects whether he's gonna start the season here...I can't say yes or no [if he'll be available for the opener]. He's day to day."

This is good news from Montgomery since this means Poitras will be in Boston to start the year and likely for the entire season as he will be their third line center unless they decide to switch him to the wing.

Fans hope that the Bruins give Poitras the right opportunity this year and do not see Johnson or Geekie taking away from this talented young forwards ice time.

Gonna stifle this kids second year for fucking Tyler Johnson and Morgan Geekie to pray they get 25 points
