Major announcement made regarding Milan Lucic's career

Former Bruins forward Milan Lucic has not played since November when he took time away from the team due to his arrest.

Lucic was arrested for assault and battery but charges were dropped in February but did not return to play and entered the NHL Player assistance program.

According to insider Frank Seravalli, Lucic has been training in New Jersey this summer and is looking to return to the NHL.

Even though he has been training, he has still yet to be cleared by commissioner Gary Bettman which he will need before returning to play.
