The Flames had a really tough year in 2023-2024 and a lot to do with it revolves around trading Matthew Tkachuk for Jonathan Huberdeau.
With their struggles, it is clear they need a change and GM Craig Conroy has entered the team into a full rebuild.
After winning a Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche, Kadri is not interested in sticking around for a rebuild and has expressed his desire to leave the team.
Due to his motivations to leave, the Calgary Flames do not have too much leverage in getting a great return for the 33-year-old, which could make for a great opportunity by Bruins GM, Don Sweeney to swoop in and get him for cheap.
Unlike Jonathan Huberdeau, Kadri has a pretty good year for Calgary and shows that his production isn't slipping with his age.
Do you think that Kadri would be a good fit for the Boston Bruins?
