It seems that with the moves made by the Bruins this offseason, they are pretty solid in the defensive department. But there is one St. Louis Blues d-man that they should go after during the season once Swayman is signed.

Most fans would say that that the Bruins need to add an elite forward to their lineup, not another defenseman, but there are always exceptions. Parayko is a physical and defensive minded player that can slot if or even be traded for Nikita Zadorov which is an arguable upgrade. He has the ability to handle top-4 ice time and has always been a reliable and solid player throughout his career.

We here at Bruins Latest believe a fair exchange would be for newly acquired Bruin Zadorov to be a key contributor to making this move. Yes. the B's have committed to him for 7-years but if they can trade him for Parayko they can shed some of that cap space and get a comparable player in return.

Parayko is no slouch in the offensive department either, last season with the Blues he scored 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points and a +/- rating of +4 on a less than stellar team. Compared to Zadorov, Nikita lacks offense and is comparable to Parayko defensively. He only scored 5 goals and 9 assists which is characteristic of his career so far.

Would you make this 1 for 1 trade?
