Since that moment, the trade rumors of Sway potentially asking for a trade has been in full swing and even confirmed by NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.

Vegas could be in a good position to take on his contract, although it was be a logistic mess due to the salary cap, they have navigated those situation before. With Robin Lehner out for the season and them losing Logan Thompson in the offseason, the team stands a lone with Adin Hill. Swayman could be a big upgrade, even if the Knights elect to use the goalie tandem strategy or can elect to send him over to the B's along with another piece such as William Karlsson.

With it being the teams first season in a new city, the Utah Hockey Club has already made big jumps by signing players such as defenseman Josh Marino from the New Jersey Devils. UHC already has 2 competent goalies that they could part way with, they could wither elect to keep or trade either Karel Vejmelka or Connor Ingram for Jeremy Swayman.
