The NHL is about a week away from the start of the NHL regular season as the Boston Bruins narrow down their roster for the first game of the year.
The Bruins have made a ton of move heading into the upcoming season but fans are still wondering what this team will look like on the ice, especially without Jeremy Swayman to start off the year.
While many have been talking of the Bruins big acquisitions such as Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm, in a recent report, Sportsnet spoke of how Bruins veteran defenseman Charlie McAvoy will dominate this year.
In the article, Sportsnet mentioned how it will be a career year for McAvoy as he will hit career highs and be in the Norris Trophy conversation which has not happen yet in his incredible career.
Bruins fans already love McAvoy and would love to see him take that next step towards being one of the greatest defenseman in the NHL this season.
While it was all good news of the Bruins front, fans won't be excited to hear what Sportsnet had to say about the Bruins rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens.
Sporstnet believes the Leafs will have one of the best goalie duos in the NHL with Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz. While the Canadiens will finally put an end to their 52 year Calder Trophy drought as Lane Hutson will win it this year.
