Projected Bruins Lineup for upcoming regular season: Glaring holes still left to fill
Our Boston Bruins are only 4 days into training camp and there are still a lot of loose ends to tie up before anything is confirmed, but this is our take on the projected lineup for the 2024-2025 regular season.
It is obviously too early to tell who will be cracking the Bruins roster, but through a couple scrimmages and intense training, there are already glimpses of what the lineups should be come the regular season.
Forwards
Brad Marchand Charlie Coyle Tyler Johnson
Trent Frederic Morgan Geekie Matthew Poitras
Max Jones John Beecher Mark Kastelic
Defense
Hampus Lindholm Brandon Carlo
Mason Lohrei Andrew Peeke
Parker Wotherspoon
The Bruins defense is by far the strongest aspect of the their lineup this year with newcomers like Nikita Zadorov, youngsters in Mason Lohrei and veteran stars such as McAvoy, Carlo and Lindholm.
Goalies
It is obvious that Swayman will probably not be singed by October 8th, which serves the reason why these 2 goalies are the Bruins best bet. It will be awesome to see how Bussi responds with his duties in the NHL and if he steps up, he could find himself becoming to the back up if Swayman does end up signing.
It will be interesting to see how similar the final roster looks like when it is announced prior to their regular season opener on October 8th against the Florida Panthers.
