David Pastrnak contradicts Jim Montgomery on why Elias Lindholm is missing from Bruins camp
This is 3 straight days that Bruins Newcomer Elias Lindholm has missed training camp, and David Pastrnak reveals why that is with hilarious reason.
Even though it is not going to be a long-term injury that keeps Lindholm from seeing the ice, head coach Jim Montgomery and Pastrnak have two very different reason for his absence.
Montgomery told reporters after practice that they are just being cautious with Lindholm and do not want to aggravate the injury any further with hard playing time in pre-season and training camp drills.
Bruins superstar had a very different and funny reason for Lindhom not playing but also provided high praise for the newcomer saying that chemistry will definitely not be a problem moving forward.
It is clear Pasta is making a light joke about Lindholm as it is great news the injury is not a serious one. There are large hopes that playing along side Pasta and Zacha will get Lindholm back to playing like his old self and bring up a bounce back season.
