Trade talk between the Bruins and Senators are continuing to heat up as recent report has Ottawa all in on landing Linus Ullmark.
It seems a trade was presented to the Bruins regarding Ullmark at the trade deadline it seems Senators GM Steve Staios are expected to make another offer before the June 28th draft.
"After failing in a bid to acquire goaltender Linus Ullmark from the Boston Bruins at the NHL trade deadline in March, (Senators GM Steve) Staios and the club's hockey operations department are expected to make another pitch before the draft set for June 28-29 in Las Vegas," Garrioch wrote.
"The Senators, Los Angeles Kings and New Jersey Devils were among several teams that made a push for the 30-year-old Ullmark before the deadline. The indications are Ullmark refused to change his 15-team no trade list, which meant a possible deal to the Devils was scuttled."
There has been no report as to if the deal fell through at the deadline because the Bruins did not like it or if Ullmark vetoed it because he did not want to go to Ottawa.
If a deal does materialize the Bruins will likely get a 1st rounder and Jacob Chychrun in exchange..
