The Boston Bruins' decision with Jim Montgomery is a no brainer

It is safe to say that the Boston Bruins have found their guy and have been quite successful with head coach Jim Montgomery the last 2 seasons, but is it enough for Don Sweeney and the Bruins to offer him an extension?
While appearing in front of reporters and media yesterday, general manager Don Sweeney was asked many tough questions and one of the was about if he will be resigning Jim Montgomery at the end of his contract.
"There has been talks, but I think Monty - well, I'm not going to speak for him, but I'm gonna guess he would take Brad's line of keeping that between us."
Obviously it is clear the team has performed extremely well under the thumb of Monty, so it really is a no-brainer decsion to offer him an extension.
In his 2nd season with the team, Monty led a Bruins team that lost many big-name and high skilled players but was still able to lead them to an impressive 47-20-15 record. Although their season was cut short, they still managed to make it to thr 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
