The Boston Bruins have just assigned Ian Mitchell to the AHL Providence on Friday. Mitchell has not played a game with the Bruins since December 23. This season with the team, he has recorded 2 assists in 13 games with the Bruins

Looks like Justin Brazeau is back on the Bruins' NHL roster, while Ian Mitchell has been sent back down.


The Bruins will face the Vancouver Canucks tonight at 7:00.
