Some pretty bad news has come out of the Boston Bruins Development Camp as Matthew Poitras was removed from the lineup ahead of an important scrimmage.
Today is the last day of Rookie Camp and Bruins up and comer, Poitras was in attendance for the whole duration. That all changed when he was removed from the lineup and did not play in the last scrimmage.
It was reported that he was removed for discomfort in his shoulder, the same shoulder he had surgery on earlier this year.
Matt Poitras not on the ice for scrimmage day. Guessing he's not cleared for that kind of contact, but we'll see.
