General Manger Don Sweeney announced that 20 -year-old Jackson Edward and 24-year-old Alec Regula will miss the beginning of Bruins camp due to injuries. Edward will miss only 7-10 days with an upper-body injury and Regula will miss some time due to knee surgery he had early in the offseason.
In 55 games last season for the Providence Bruins of the AHL, Regula scored four goals and 24 assists for 26 points, and achieved a +/- rating of +36. Edwards on the other hand, has yet to see any action in professional hockey as he was drafted 200th overall by Boston in 2022. Last Season for the London Knights of the OHL, Edwards he scored 7 goals and 23 assists for 30 points in 59 games.
It is always tough to see youngsters go down with an injury tis early into camp but it seems like with the updates they will be back in no time.
