Tkachuk facing punishment for breaking rules with the Stanley Cup
Florida Panthers superstar and Stanley Cup Champion, Matthew Tkachuk could be in deep trouble for breaking the rules while having his day with he Cup. He is under fire after a photo of him is now going viral.
The Panthers were able to win the ultimate prize this year by beating the Edmonton Oilers in 7 games. It was a time of pure chaos after videos of the team were circulating doping all the fun things players do in the hours after winning.
Today it was revealed that Tkachuk could be in serious trouble for bring the cup into the Atlantic ocean as this was a clear boundary set upon the players.
In a recent interview, Matthew Tkachuk spoke about the celebration after winning the Stanley Cup. He showcased that he was told that he wasn't supposed to take the Stanley Cup into the Atlantic Ocean.
Like all brothers do, Matthew blamed his younger brother and fellow NHLer, Brady Tkachuk for inspiring him to do it.
He has not heard if there will be any repercussion for his antics but it can't be that bad as he was still awarded his personal day with the cup in which he brought to his home town of St. Louis Missouri.
