Tom Brady has confirmed his move to broadcasting for the upcoming season.

This confirmation addresses the rising speculation about whether the seven-time Super Bowl winner would actually transition to broadcasting, especially after his announcement in February 2023 about starting in 2024.

In May 2022, Brady reportedly inked a massive 10-year deal valued at $375 million. He chose to sit out the 2023 season to dedicate time to his family and to gain a deeper understanding of the broadcasting sector, following his 23-year tenure in the NFL.

During his recent appearance on the «Pat McAfee Show» this Tuesday, Brady shared his enthusiasm about joining FOX's premier team, where he'll be working alongside commentator Kevin Burkhardt.

"I've been working hard on my FOX broadcast opportunity, which I'm super excited about," Brady said. "Spoke to a lot of broadcasters from this entire season, just learning from them, current broadcasters, ones that have done play-by-play, analysis. It's been really fun," Brady added. "I connected with a lot of fun people, I got a lot of great notes. I can probably write a broadcasting playbook at this point. But it's been something I've challenged myself, and I really look forward to get on there and calling games for FOX starting in September."

Brady commended FOX color commentator Greg Olsen, who partnered with Burkhardt throughout the 2023 season. Olsen exceeded expectations and emerged as one of the top color commentators in the industry, arguably outperforming CBS Sports' Tony Romo. Despite his success, Olsen is poised to relinquish the A-team role to Brady.
