This year's NHL points leader, Nikita Kucherov, displayed a less than enthusiastic effort during his attempt at the passing challenge of this year's All-Star Skills Competition.
It's unclear if his poor score was caused by a misunderstanding of the rules, a disinterest in the competition as a whole, or (as the commentators hinted at) a little influence from an ice cold, refreshing, adult beverage! Whatever the case, Kucherov has certainly proven so far this season that it is not a lack of skill causing his embarrassing performance in this particular Skills Competition! That being said, I wouldn't expect to see many worse performances from Kucherov or any other All-Stars as the weekend continues.
